I love this age for all my own selfish reasons: Drew love hanging out with me! When I leave the room, he asks "where's Momma?" When he wants to go somewhere, he takes me by the finger and leads (or drags...) me with him. Drew loves to just sit on my lap to hang out, play with legos or read a book. I love the snuggle time we get together....but it's bittersweet because I know he is growing up and I'll soon be lucky to get a fleeting kiss as he runs out the door.
I also love this age because he understand so much even if he can't speak it all yet. I can say "Go get your coat" and he'll do it! And his babble...he talks a lot and most of it I can't understand. Every once in a while I can figure it out. I just wonder what it is he is saying...because he has a LOT to say!
And finally I love his enthusiasm. Drew is SO happy, SO sad, SO excitement, SO frustrated.
Everything is in the extreme. It's kinda nice--not nice when he is SO fussy and nothing helps--but in general, it's nice to see life being led with such gusto! Here is a picture of Drew's joy that I love!
