Ryan's first trip to the ER

Poor baby Ryan fell backwards in his highchair and hit his head on the French door; he had two cuts and a big bump. I wanted to be on the safe side so I took him to the ER for a checkup. Poor little guy was fine but needed to be sedated for a cat scan of his head. It was a difficult day. Poor Ryan--the sleeping medicine made him hyper/lose muscle strength. He was crazy, crawling around the crib but fallling all over himself! The nurses weren't sure the sedation would work when they saw my crazy, hyper red head but then suddenly he was fast asleep. I was able to carry him into the cat scan which I liked. I knew he was okay but to see him passed out in the CT tube choked me up. I am so thankful for my healthy kids.

So a long day but confirmation that Ryan was ok in the fall. And I think he made the nurses day!
