Rubber walls?

Ok seriously. Little boys=accidents. Drew was running to get a drink, fell, split his lip open (no stitches needed but was a nasty cut and took days to heal).

Next day Ryan runs head first into the window sill (he was trying to jump on the bench in front of the window, I think). What? Why would you faceplant into a wall/bench going top speed? Why? Why?? He got a nasty bump.

And as soon as they cry and recover a minute from their injury they are back to it AGAIN. Spinning around, wrestling, throwing themselves on the floor. I mean, COME ON. Can we learn ANYTHING from these falls?? Apparently not.

My goal for 2012 is to not have any ER visits. Seriously. And I am not sure we will get through 2012 unscathed, no matter how hard I try.

And my house is running out of space to put furniture that encourages acrobatics. The bench Ryan ran at was promptly put away, at least for now. The bunk beds need to be de-bunked in anticipation of whatever crazy manuever they will attempt. I mean do we need to get rid of our chairs? Ryan did get stitches after falling into one.

Ugh there is only so much you can do to accident proof your house. But boys are so high energy and just don't.ever.stop. I swear girls are easier at this age.
