Connection and power

I read this book "Playful Parenting". It's basically saying to connect to your child through playing with them and you will see a big difference in them. It's partially correct but it's hard to play all the time. And then when you stop, the kids pester you about when you'll play again or asking over and over to play xyz game. It's a good sign I am fun to play with but I need a break sometimes!

I did like this though: from their parents boys need connection and girls need empowerment. Interesting....
